Outside

Oh My Goodness!!! Can I just say that Kai is one of the most temperamental stubborn 1 year old I know!? He wanted to go outside...and it had just stormed the night before, so I was very hesitant to let him go because it was soooo cold! but, he wanted to go so bad and kept saying "please" (at least signing please) so I thought I would be a nice mom and let him go. but of course, I'm no crazy mom, so I told him he had to put his snowsuit on. He was so excited until I started to put the snow pants on him....He just LOST it. He started screaming and kicking and arching his back. He go so mad and I had enough so I just put him down. He then started screaming and crying and ran to the next room up against the wall while he just let it all out. After about 5 minutes, he came back wanting to go outside again. OK, we'll give it another try...but the SAME thing happened when I tried to put his snowsuit on him. I couldn't believe it! We did this 2 more times when I finally just took him out in his onsie thinking he would learn why he needed the snowsuit. YES, he was COLD...so cold he was shivering. I thought that now he would get it and put his snow suite on, but I was WRONG. He kicked and cried, but still saying please to let him out. I finally just managed to put his jacket on him and sent him on his marry way. His hands were freezing cold when he came in, but he was one happy camper. Or should I say "one happy stubborn camper".
