Easter #2

Kai's first EGG that he decorated!

We had a big Easter get together at our house where we colored Easter Eggs and held an Easter Egg Hunt with the cousins. Kai wanted to just play with toys in the yard or break the eggs rather than collect the eggs and put them into is basket...but after awhile he finally figured it out. He wanted to keep dumping out the eggs from his basket and putting them all back in rather than finding new ones! LOL. He opened his "basket" at the end...we got him a big teddy bear and Dora the Explorer CD player. He was so excited. He looked so cute in his Easter Outfit.

Mmmm Chicken Nuggets!

Kai absolutely LOVES chicken nuggets....and not just any nuggets...McDonald's Chicken Nuggets! He now knows the McDonalds sign well enough that he'll point to it and say "Chicken Nuggets House! I want Nuggets!". How does he remember these things!?
But he doesn't like it cut into pieces nor does he want to take a bite out of it. He wants to put the whole thing in his mouth. that's the only way he wants it! if we cut it or have him bite it, he wont eat it anymore! talk about picky!!! He can eat a 6 piece no problem! On a hungry day, he can down 10 pieces of nuggets! ...if only McDonalds Chicken Nuggets were healthy .

Paaarty!

Kai's 2nd Birthday Party! We had a jumper and a pinata. Kai liked the jumper much better than his 1st birthday, but he still seemed a bit scared. He also preferred running around the yard more than hitting the pinata (you can even see him running around the back ground of all the pictures when other kids are hitting the pinata). He did have fun picking up the candy once the pinata was broken, but not because he wanted to eat the candy...because he wanted to throw the candy! Until this day, Kai hadn't eaten a single candy...but thanks to Uncle Allen, he tasted his first empty calories!! Lets just hope he doesn't become addicted to sugar! I guess we can let him have a little enjoyment on his birthday. (but to be honest, I don't think he liked the candy very much :) )
The Glenn's and all of Allen kids were there to help celebrate Kai's B-day. Jaime was out of town so Allen was in charge of getting the kids ready...notice that they all had hats on...Allen apparently didn't want to brush their hair! LOL
It was an awesome day to celebrate Kai's B-day.  Happy 2nd Birthday Kai!

Kai always goes into his little private corner when taking care of business. Well, it wasn't so discreet once he was finished! notice the big lump on his butt that just shouldn't be there?

Kai's 2!

I can't believe it's already been 2 years since Kai joined our family. Time flies too fast! We decided to take Kai to Toys R Us for his birthday so that he can play with all the toys and pick the toy he wants. We had so much fun. He practically went down every aisle but pretty much loved climbing on boxes that were on display! In the end, he picked out a hula-hoop and a fire truck that actually shoots water. He was so worn out that he knocked out as soon as we put him in the car seat. We also went to Tucanos and he got his own ice cream sunday for his Birthday. We practically had to twist his arm to even try it...I guess it's good that he doesn't want sweets too much, but he sure is missing out!
