Paaarty!
Kai's 2nd Birthday Party! We had a jumper and a pinata. Kai liked the jumper much better than his 1st birthday, but he still seemed a bit scared. He also preferred running around the yard more than hitting the pinata (you can even see him running around the back ground of all the pictures when other kids are hitting the pinata). He did have fun picking up the candy once the pinata was broken, but not because he wanted to eat the candy...because he wanted to throw the candy! Until this day, Kai hadn't eaten a single candy...but thanks to Uncle Allen, he tasted his first empty calories!! Lets just hope he doesn't become addicted to sugar! I guess we can let him have a little enjoyment on his birthday. (but to be honest, I don't think he liked the candy very much :) )
The Glenn's and all of Allen kids were there to help celebrate Kai's B-day. Jaime was out of town so Allen was in charge of getting the kids ready...notice that they all had hats on...Allen apparently didn't want to brush their hair! LOL
It was an awesome day to celebrate Kai's B-day. Happy 2nd Birthday Kai!

What poop?
Kai always goes into his little private corner when taking care of business. Well, it wasn't so discreet once he was finished! notice the big lump on his butt that just shouldn't be there?

Kai's 2!
I can't believe it's already been 2 years since Kai joined our family. Time flies too fast! We decided to take Kai to Toys R Us for his birthday so that he can play with all the toys and pick the toy he wants. We had so much fun. He practically went down every aisle but pretty much loved climbing on boxes that were on display! In the end, he picked out a hula-hoop and a fire truck that actually shoots water. He was so worn out that he knocked out as soon as we put him in the car seat. We also went to Tucanos and he got his own ice cream sunday for his Birthday. We practically had to twist his arm to even try it...I guess it's good that he doesn't want sweets too much, but he sure is missing out!
Here's Kai opening some of his presents on his Birthday.
Happy Birthday Kai! Even though you are getting presents on this day, you are the best present to Mommy and Daddy :)

If I was a girl...
Kai's hair was soo long, we really needed to cut it. But, it's just so hard cutting Kai's hair since he hates sitting still and he hates getting his hair cut. I couldn't help myself but try putting his hair in a pony tale. Of course, Jason was NOT happy, but we all had a good laugh. Even with a pony tale, there would be no questions whether Kai was a boy or not. He simply looks like a boy with a pony tale!
train ride
The South Town Mall has a mini train that takes kids around the mall. We thought Kai would LOVE this since he is so into trains lately. Shockingly, he was actually scared of the ride! He had a tight grip around Jason the whole time...but what actually ended up being Kai's favorite ride?....the escalators! He would make us take him up and down, up and down. At first, Tutu was taking him, but she got tired so I had to take over...then after awhile she had to take over again. We finally had to put our foot down and drag him away from the escalators...screaming! We should have just saved our money and taken him to the escalators instead of the train.

look mommy!

I was getting ready upstairs and peeked to make sure Kai was okay...Not only was he okay, but he had stacked up his blocks soooo high! What I was impressed about the most was that he though to stack it up on the block storage that gave the blocks a nice flat surface to balance on! My little genious.
