Now What?

Kai loves to climb on things and he is very curious. He especially wants to see what's on the counter or the table...but, the only problem is, he can only climb up...he can't get down. This time, he got up on the stool but he couldn't get down so he was stuck. At first, all I saw was the front view so he seemed so cute and innocent, but he started making this wining noise letting me know he wanted to get down, and I finally started to realize what was going on. Once I saw the side view, I could see the little mischievous boy that he was! I had to take a picture to show the 2 sides of Kai!

I get what I want

My precious baby boy who has a mind of his own and is always determined to get what he wants. I had just come back from a trip so my carry-on suitcase was out. Kai wanted cheerios so when I told him No, what does he do?...he gets my suite case and uses it as a stool to reach for his cheerios. He will improvise and will never give up until he gets what he wants. I'm sure he will always be this way...I just hope he will focus that determination and strong will for the good things in life!

boots

Kai has fallen in love with his rain boots. He always wants to put it on...he brings it to us and says "boots?". So cute to watch him put it on and parade around the house with it.

Discovery Gateway

On President's Day we decided to take Kai to Discovery Gateway which is this attraction at the Gateway Mall with all sorts of fun displays, games, activities for Kids to do. Kai was hesitant at first since there were so many kids around, but once he found the water display, he was right at home! He kept putting the balls through the tubes and watched it go! He played with bubbles and all. We were worried that he might start pushing other kids or taking their toys to get what he wants, but he was so cute and played on his own. It was so nice to just get out of the house and spend time together as a family. Jason had to be in a wheelchair because of his leg so he couldn't go to all the activities with Kai, but it was still fun for all of us!

Surprise for Grandpa Scott

Scott left his shoes by the door and when he went to leave, he found a little surprise waiting for him in his shoes from Kai. He always puts his toys in unexpected places! (we always have to go searching for toys, blankets, pacifiers in shoes, vases, purses, etc.) He always keeps us on our toes!

stronger than I look

I have a church bag that has Kai's goodies that will keep him quiet during church. In this bag, I also have all of my church folders, books, etc. It weighs 15 lbs. So, I always keep my church bag in the office which is a good 20ft from the kitchen. On this day, I walked into the kitchen to find Kai with my church bag (that was in the office) eating cheerios that was in a container that he was not supposed to be able to open by himself! I could not believe that he was actually able to drag my 15 lb bag from the office to the kitchen! My little muscle man! He literally does not let anything get in his way!!!

How how can I go?

Kai was stacking blocks and every time he added another block, I thought it would fall, but he kept going higher and higher. He was so excited and would run around the block every time he'd put another block on. It finally fell with the 17th block, but this was an all time record!
