Splish Splash I was taking a bath

Kai LOVES his bath time, but who says parents can't have a little fun too. His hair was getting so long and you know it's time for a hair cut when you can do this...

I'm stuck!

Kai wanted to get onto the bench/chair then onto the table to get his drink. One problem....the bench was pushed under the table so he couldn't get up once he hoisted his body onto the bench. He kept trying to sit up, but kept hitting the bottom of the table every time.
I guess I could have helped him or showed him how to get "unstuck" but I think I'll let him figure it out himself.

who needs a spoon?

Kai LOVES yogurt. He was eating like a little good boy...with a spoon, and realized "this is taking way too long than I'd like". So, he just picked up the bowl and started slurping away. It was faster, but definitely not the proper etiquette I wanted him to learn! I have to give him credit for being clever though.

Messy Boy II

Kai LOVES making a mess! There is no shelf left un-emptied when Kai is around. Now, if you leave Kai alone with Jason, the mess is exponential and almost uncontrollable...which is a different story. Well, I was doing the dishes and Kai kept pulling me pants wanting to eat some snacks. I told him to hold on, but I guess he couldn't wait. He went into the cupboard by himself, and took out the cereal. It was closed so I didn't worry too much, but then, he opened the box....Before I could stop him, he dumped it out!!! Then, he started eating the cereal which got all over his face. so I had cereal on the floor and goo on Kai's face. What a Mess!!!!

Spoon

Kai is getting so much better with his spoon. He can't do anything too watery or dry since it will fall right off his spoon, but gooey things are his specialty. (e.g. applesauce and chili)
But, he loves to chew on the spoon with almost every bite so it takes awhile for him to eat. So, mommy will often times have to step in and feed him whatever is left in the bowl. He's so proud of himself whenever he can use the spoon all by himself. He'll even eat things he doesn't like if he's the one doing the feeding!

Kai the acorn

Today was a very very sad day for me. Even though I told Jason NOT to cut Kai's hair, he promised me that it would only be a trim...Well, it sure didn't turn out to be just a trim. My cute little baby boy now looks like an acorn!!! I'm not sure what it is, but we just can't seem to get his haircuts right. It always turns out bad. I'm never going to cut his hair again!

antibiotics Mmmmm

Kai's been sick and he's been prescribed antibiotics. We weren't sure what to expect from Kai when taking the medicine, but to our surprise, he LOVED it! He's only allowed to have 1 tsp, but as soon as the dosage was gone, he would ask for more. Mmmm antibiotics!

(Unfortunately, he was allergic to it and broke out in hives after awhile...we then had to get him a special kind of antibiotics that cost $100 per bottle. Kai can be very expensive!!!)
